Exclusive Clarke Peters Interview JK: Do you have a favorite actor?

CP: Paul Newman, Denholm Elliott.

JK: Favorite film?

CP: "Hellzapoppin'"

JK: Favorite book?

CP: "Illusions" by Richard Bach.  Years ago he wrote "Jonathan Livingston Seagull," and he followed up with "Illusions," the memoirs of a reluctant messiah.  Wonderful parable, and it still resonates with me today.  My second favorite book is "The Autobiography of a Yogi," by Paramhansa Yogananda.

JK: Favorite play?

CP: Musical..."Guys and Dolls," my favorite play would be "Drivin' Miss Daisy."  Yeah, that'd be my favorite play.

JK: Music?

CP: Jazz.  Oscar Peterson.
